EDBA 55+ Free Play Session – May 26, 2018

Hi Everyone,

Please note that a limited number of courts have been added to the 2018 EDBA 55+ Free Play Program at W.P. Wagner High School (6310 – Wagner Road NW):

Saturday, May 26, 2018: 2 to 4 p.m.

A reminder that the EDBA 55+ Free Play program is open to the public for players 55 and older and not restricted to EDBA Clubs members. If you have any questions, please email me at president@edba.org. Please bring your own shuttles and non marking court shoes.

FREE Badminton lesson for Juniors on Sunday, June 3

EDBA is conducting a FREE Badminton lesson workshop for players ages 9 to 17 on Sunday June, 03, 2018 at Queen Elizabeth High School.

The workshop is open to anyone interested in trying out Badminton or/and want to try out a group lesson class. Players and parents have the opportunity to find out more information about EDBA and the junior programs. Also, players will take part in a group lesson conducted by National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) trained coaches.

12:00pm – 1:30pm (Beginner/Intermediate level*), Ages 9 to 17

Session 2 Time:
2:00pm – 4:00pm (Intermediate/Advance level), Ages 11 to 17

Cost:
FREE

Registration:
Email player’s name, age and session number to: coaching@edba.org

Limited number of students per session, can only registered 1 session per child.
Accepted on first come first served basis.  Non-registrant only accepted at the door if space is available.
*intermediate level – player must be able to sustain a continuous rally for few minutes and understand the game rules.

Note:

Players must bring their own racquet and indoor non-marking court shoes.
Lesson are trained in a group environment by NCCP trained coaches.
