FREE Badminton lesson for Juniors on Sunday, June 3

EDBA is conducting a FREE Badminton lesson workshop for players ages 9 to 17 on Sunday June, 03, 2018 at Queen Elizabeth High School.

The workshop is open to anyone interested in trying out Badminton or/and want to try out a group lesson class. Players and parents have the opportunity to find out more information about EDBA and the junior programs. Also, players will take part in a group lesson conducted by National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) trained coaches.

Session 1 Time: 
12:00pm – 1:30pm (Beginner/Intermediate level*), Ages 9 to 17

Session 2 Time:
2:00pm – 4:00pm (Intermediate/Advance level), Ages 11 to 17

Limited number of students per session, can only registered 1 session per child.
Accepted on first come first served basis.  Non-registrant only accepted at the door if space is available.
*intermediate level – player must be able to sustain a continuous rally for few minutes and understand the game rules.

Note:

Players must bring their own racquet and indoor non-marking court shoes.
Lesson are trained in a group environment by NCCP trained coaches.

Junior Skill Improvement Workshop – May 8, 2016

The EDBA will be conducting a skill improvement workshop for players age 18 and under. The workshop is open to beginner and intermediate players. Coaching will be provided by qualified NCCP coaches.

Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 12pm to 2pm

Location:

WP Wagner High School (6310 Wagner Rd NW, Edmonton, AB)

Cost:
$10 (shuttles provided, payment will be collected at the workshop). Cash only, please bring exact change if possible.

Notes:

  • Players must bring their own racquet and wear indoor, non-marking court shoes.
  • Protective eyewear is recommended.

EDBA may accept non-registrants at the door but reserves the right to limit/reject non-registrants in order to preserve an optimum coach to player ratio. To avoid disappointment, please register.
